The enthusiasm among the attendees was evident from the fact that they started pouring in right from 2:00 PM ahead of the scheduled start time of 3:00 PM. As per schedule, we started the event at 3:00 PM.
The meetup started with breaking the ice session, wherein each participant introduced themselves and discussions happened regarding the current trends in search marketing and the SEO industry. When the clock ticked 3:25 PM, Gillian arrived along with James.
She addressed the crowd with a traditional greeting 'namaste' and a sweet smile. Each participant was excited with her presence and was listening each word of hers with greater enthusiasm. She gave an introduction on the current scenario in search marketing and went on to add further with more facts and indian perspectives on SEO and SEM.
The presentation by Gillian enlightened the audience as it comprised of search marketing basics, insights into Indian market, facts and figures on Indian web and mobile penetration, tips to enhance seo campaigns, new TLDs coming into picture in near future, brand protection and online reputation management.
The meetup went on with a Q & A session with the audience. Each participant got benefited in one or the other way as it gave insights into realistic facts and techniques to be used in search marketing.
